Career Change Physician

Dear Doctor,

You just searched for "career change physician" or a similar phrase.

Therefore, I'm going to make an assumption that you might be "sick and tired of being sick and tired," as the old saying goes.

That's how I felt after years of 70-hour weeks as a forensic psychologist.

But, thankfully, I found a way to engineer a career change from forensic psychology to what I like to call a "laptop and cell phone" business. I've cut my work hours by 40% and I'm making the same income. I'm rarely stressed and I have a lot more fun.

Many doctors who searched for "career change physician" and who read this page are not entrepreneurs, which is of course fine. If the idea of growing your own business repulses you, I can save you some time and say that this is not for you. Go back to the "career change physician" results on Google and see if there's something more relevant for you there.

On the other hand, if the idea of building a low-stress, high-profit home-based business piques your interest--and is perhaps what you're looking for when you searched for "career change physician" (or similar), then read on ...

Now at this point, I'd probably be thinking, "This sounds too good to be true!" or wondering, "Is this a scam?" Of course, those are important questions to ask.

And I address both of those concerns later in this letter. First allow me to tell you about what led me to change careers. It involves a convicted murderer with death-lust in his eyes ...

Being A Forensic Psychologist Was Interesting But ...

Sure, there were aspects to my profession (forensic psychology) that I enjoyed.

* I loved to catch a psychopathic killer in his web of lies and thereby short- circuit his attempt to fake a mental illness.

* It made me feel good that judges valued my expert witness testimony.

* When I devised a plan to help a troubled employee and thereby possibly prevented him from "going postal" on the job, I felt like my job was meaningful and important.

Alone in a Room with a Convicted Murderer

I often conducted evaluations in death penalty cases. On one occasion, I found myself in a room with a convicted murderer and realized that the prison guard had decided to take a smoke break without calling for a replacement.

The inmate, a wild-eyed muscular man covered with tattoos, also noticed the guard had left. His tone went from fake friendliness to belligerent in an instant.

"I don't wanna talk to some stupid shrink any more!" he blurted out.

I quickly looked around for the red "panic button" which most jails and prisons have in their interviewing rooms. No button.

"Damn hick jails," I said to myself.

I had to rely on my psychological knowledge and wits. Since he was obviously angry--and I knew that many psychopaths are very narcissistic and love to talk-- I said, "This place is really f---ed up, isn't it?"

The inmate launched into a lengthy diatribe about how unfair the prison guards were, how the charges against him were unfair, how the people on the jury were a bunch of idiots, and on and on.

When he stopped to look at me again with a "and you're just as bad as all of them" look. I remember thinking, "Why didn't I take that martial arts course?"

I began praying when fortunately, at that moment, the guard sauntered in as if he had done nothing wrong.

The inmate put his friendly act back on and through sheer will power I managed to calm myself down and I completed the evaluation.

But by the time I was walking out of the prison, I was shaking and about to lose my lunch because I realized how close I had come to being assaulted by a man who had seriously injured or killed over a dozen people in his life, including a police officer.

One more maiming or death wouldn't make any difference to him.

Sick And Tired

I decided that was enough.

That night I searched the Internet for "career transitions" and "changing professions," perhaps similar to your search today for "career change physician" or similar.

The stress was too much--and that incident was just one example. It was really a cumulative effect of long hours, stressful cases, aggressive cross-examinations, and being away from my kids. The near-death experience was simply the last straw.

How This Applies To You

You probably don't have to face convicted murderers but I bet that your work as a physician wears on you just as much. Otherwise, you wouldn't be plugging search terms like, "career change physician" into the 'ol Google box, right?

See if any of the following are true for you:

* What once was a passion has now become a burden.

* You want to be a good provider for your family but you'd like to spend quality time with them more than a few times a month.

* You wake up in the morning and think, "Oh God, how long can I keep doing this?"

The Escape

There is a way to conduct a career change and achieve a more fulfilling lifestyle.

It has worked well for me and it might be the answer for you as well.

Of course, it's not the only way to transition out of a high-stress profession or job. But it might very well be the fastest and least expensive option.

For more information about the business I joined that has worked so well for me, fill in your first name and email address on this form:

Note: After you submit the form, you'll be taken to a web page with a video of a guy named Jay who will tell you, among other things, about the "CarbonCopyPRO" system we use for this business.

You might think, "What can this scruffy young man teach me? I'm searching for info regarding "career change physician."

My advice: "Don't judge a book by its cover." That Jay fellow is a multi-millionaire who has created a unique, cutting-edge sales and marketing system--the one you can leverage to create a better lifestyle for yourself.

By the way, there are a large number of physicians, psychologists, dentists, Ph.D. scientists, engineers, business owners, former executives, pilots, etc. in this business. You're not alone in searching for things like, "career change physician!"

Is it a scam? You'll of course need to do your own research. But here's what I discovered:

Why This Business Is Not A Scam

  • The company has a clean record according to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). The company has have never had a substantiated complaint according to the BBB.

  • The company has never been investigated or sanctioned by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)

  • No actions by a State Attorney General has ever been taken against the company, nor are there any pending investigations.

  • The company has is a United States of America Corporation based in Texas. It's not some fly-by-night, off-shore sham.

  • The business started in January 2005. It has passed the important 3-year mark that so many companies never reach.

  • The compensation model is the same one used in the Insurance, Real Estate, and Mortgage industries. Leaders who recruit and train new professionals receive a commission when members of their team make a sale. But the largest commission goes to the person who makes the sale. You are rewarded for your hard work.

  • It is NOT "Multi-Level Marketing" (MLM). There are only two "levels" - Your direct sales and the sales of your team members.

  • The company is a member in good standing of the Direct Sales Association, the leading trade organization for direct sales companies.

  • Industry leaders such as Mike Dillard of Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic Formula fame and Jeffrey Combs of Golden Mastermind Seminars are associated with the company.

  • I am a skeptic at heart; trained as a scientist to always question appearances. I have represented this company since March 2007 and I have never seen any unethical or questionable business practices. And yes I do look for them, as I have when representing or working for any company, hospital, or institution.

  • I have met the owners of the company, conducted research on them, and have come away impressed with their professionalism and integrity

  • What is the company?
